This session provides detailed information on using ELGG for the purposes of using its blogging facility, connecting to people, the private messaging facility and uploading files. It also provides an overview of Access Controls and how these can be used for security purposes, groups and communities and how to moderate users and user content.

The session provides resources and activities for both ELGG Student and Administrator and it is recommended that you complete only the resources and activities developed for the ELGG account type that you have.

There are five main sections to each session that can be accessed by clicking on the links at the top of the page:

  Provides an introduction to the session.

  Expected learning outcomes achieved by working your way through the session.

  This is the main body of the session and provides individual learning chunks relevant to the session.
